Our Tsampa Soup mix is made with sprouted, roasted, organic barley that’s descended from a traditional Himalayan variety. Today, it’s grown for us in Saskatchewan and sourced by our friends at Peak Sherpa. We add organic toasted buckwheat, veggies and seasoning to create a satisfying, easy-to-make soup. This hearty soup provides the energy boost we expect from the Himalayan power food that inspired it. It’s a good source of fiber, vegetarian and dairy-free, and it’s made from certified organic, non-GMO ingredients.

We make our Tsampa Soup from organic whole grains and vegetables. We’ve found these ingredients taste better, provide healthier sustenance and help protect our planet. All of which combine to create food that makes us feel good in more ways than one.
Each organic soup - Tsampa Soup, and Black Bean, Green Lentil, and Red Bean Chili - has a delicious, distinct recipe. They come in convenient shelf-stable envelopes for hauling or storage, making it easier than ever to eat lower on the food chain.
Bring two cups of water to a boil, add contents of package and stir. Return to a boil, reduce heat to low and simmer very gently for 10 minutes. Or, to conserve fuel on the trail, boil for 1 minute, turn off heat, cover and let stand 9 minutes.
We like to add Parmesan shavings and a drizzle of olive oil before serving. For an extra treat, crumble in some Patagonia Provisions Wild Sockeye Salmon.
