Step One: Cook Your Soup

Instructions

Bring two cups of water to a boil and add contents of package, return to a boil and cook for at least one minute (additional cook time required above 3,000 feet).  Cover, remove from heat and wait nine minutes.

Eat it as is or layer!  We like to add parmesan shavings and a drizzle of olive oil before serving. For an extra treat, crumble in some Patagonia Provisions Wild Sockeye Salmon.

Step Two: Boost Your Soup With a topping

Tsampa is the perfect “baselayer” for creativity. To boost our Tsampa Soup experience, we like to add one or more of the following:

  • Fresh grated Parmesan cheese and a drizzle of olive oil
  • Farm eggs, poached or sunny side up in the soup
  • Fresh chopped vegetables
  • Our lightly smoked Wild Sockeye Salmon
  • Fresh spinach and herbs
